02Why Loupe
A loupe is the small glass a printer holds to the page to see what the eye misses.
The grain of the paper, the edge of a letter, the dots hiding inside a photograph. It is a tool for paying attention, and paying attention is the job we took the name for.
Most of the web is built to be skimmed. We build for the moment someone stops, looks again, and finds there was more there than they first thought.
